Starting September 1, 2026, the D’Angelo Training Facility is partnering with The Futures App to give athletes and families a more connected way to train, track progress, and stay aligned with their coaches. This partnership brings a centralized development platform into the D’Angelo training experience, helping athletes continue their work before, during, and after they leave the facility.

At Applegate Baseball Training, the belief has always been simple: development does not stop when an athlete walks out the door. The work between lessons, practices, games, and workouts matters. The Futures App gives that work a clearer plan, a better record, and a direct line back to the coaches guiding the process.

External rotation monitoring can easily be performed with The Futures App - one of the many tools offered.

Development continues beyond the facility

One of the biggest challenges in athlete development is consistency.

A player may come in for a lesson, get helpful feedback, work on a pitching cue, then leave with good intentions. By the time the next practice, game, or workout comes around, the plan can get blurry. What drill should be repeated? What video should be reviewed? What did the coach want the athlete to feel or fix?

That gap is where progress can slow down. Between practices, games, All-Stars, travel baseball, and everything else on an athlete’s schedule, it’s easy for a training plan to become unclear or inconsistent.

The Futures App helps us eliminate that gap by allowing us to create a player-specific development plan built around each athlete’s individual schedule, workload, position, and goals. Rather than giving every athlete the same program, we can tailor their training to what they are actually doing on the field and what they need to continue progressing.
