Why we do this

We do this because we’ve seen every level of the game—from recreation baseball, representing Team USA, and competing in the Men’s College World Series -- and want to share it with you.

We’ve seen what works, what doesn’t, and what too many players are missing.

That’s why our focus is on doing things the right way—developing athletes for long-term success through proper training, arm care, and preparation.

Because it’s not just about getting better today—it’s about building players who last.

About the Applegates

Our Journey

Applegate Baseball Training started over a decade ago in Jason’s parents’ backyard—with a simple goal: help players get better and definitely do not throw facing the house.

Jason went on to play Division I baseball at Villanova University, where he ranks second all-time in appearances and saves in program history. Today, he also works as a master’s-prepared nurse, carrying the belief that giving back is always the right thing to do.

His brother Carson followed a high-level path of his own—representing Team USA and competing in the Men’s College World Series with the University of Kentucky. He now studies finance while finishing his career at Saint Joseph’s University.

What started in a backyard has grown into something much bigger, but the foundation hasn’t changed. They were raised on the values of respect, hard work, and grit—principles that remain the three pillars of everything they do at Applegate Baseball Training.
