JASON APPLEGATE
Owner
After graduating from The Hun School of Princeton in 2015, Jason became one of Villanova University’s all-time leaders in appearances and top 10 in saves. With over 10 years of training experience, Jason is dedicated to helping young athletes grow on and off the field. He has trained players who have gone on to earn scholarships to the SEC, ACC, Big East, A-10, Ivy League, NESCAC, East Coast Conference, and more. Jason offers buddy, group, and team training.

Carson Applegate
Co-Owner and Director of Hitting
After graduating from The Hun School of Princeton and earning New Jersey Prep Player of the Year honors, Carson continued his career at University of Kentucky, where he was part of the program’s first-ever Division I College World Series team in 2024. Carson now leads the hitting and fielding development at Applegate Baseball Training.

Jonathan Rosero
Director of Pitching Development
A four-year member of Villanova University Baseball, Jonathan was a four-year Friday night starter who finished his career with over 200 innings pitched while earning Big East All-Academic honors, Athletic Director’s Honor Roll recognition, and Big 5 Pitcher of the Week honors.
As Director of Pitching Development at Applegate Baseball Training, Jonathan leads pitching instruction and implements cutting-edge training methods into lessons, winter arm care, and team development. Jonathan offers private, group, and team training.

Ryan Dromboski
Pitching Performance Coach
Ryan Dromboski starred at University of Pennsylvania, where he earned Ivy League Pitcher of the Year honors, ABCA/Rawlings All-Region recognition, and All-Ivy League honors during his collegiate career. Following his success at Penn, Ryan signed with the Philadelphia Phillies organization and currently pitches in the Phillies minor league system. At Applegate Baseball Training, Ryan brings high-level collegiate and professional pitching experience to help athletes develop their mechanics, velocity, command, and overall approach on the mound. Ryan is available during the offseason months of October-February due to professional commitments. Ryan offers private, group, and team training.

Ethan Bowen
Pitching Performance Coach
Following a standout high school career, Ethan Bowen continued his baseball career at Rutgers University before transferring to Saint Joseph's University. A South Jersey Pitcher of the Year, Olympic Conference Player of the Year, and Academic All-Big Ten honoree, Ethan has established himself through his work ethic, competitiveness, and attention to detail. At Applegate Baseball Training, Ethan works closely with athletes on pitching mechanics, command, arm care, and game preparation to help players confidently compete at the next level. Ethan is available during the offseason months of May- August, and December-January. Ethan offers private, group, and team training.

Jayden Robinson
director of strength and conditioning
Jayden Robinson, B.S., CSCS, serves as the Director of Strength & Performance at Applegate Baseball Training. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Currently an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Rowan University and D1 Training, Jayden specializes in designing and customizing baseball-specific strength and performance programs tailored to help our athletes develop safely and effectively.
